Backside of the Railroad Square, behind the convention center, look for the pink T-Rex!
Awarded "2021 Nonprofit of the Year" by the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the "Platinum Seal of Transparency" by the GuideStar, we aim to be world class in all areas!
Over 25 years ago a mother and city leaders saw a vision of fun place where children could learn. Today we are the oldest and largest children's museum in Montana. Our little city on the river have enjoyed productive, interactive, and educational activities and exhibits all year-round. We have exhibits to boost emotional and cognitive development. The Children’s Museum of Montana has seen over 60,000 visitors since then. We are proud of how far we have come- our current collection of 20 exhibits is a must see for all visitors!
The local artist's murals are extremely well done and one of the hidden treasure of this city.
While the years have passed, the mission remains the same- To Ignite a Passion for Lifelong Learning! Whether they are saving lives as a doctor in the Little Falls Clinic, learning about money in the Giant Springs Credit Union, or living on the homestead of the frontier; hands-on play is the goal and their own imagination is the only limitation!
Through collaboration we have hosted the annual toddler screening, the Head Start registration, scavenger hunts, Easter egg hunts, and many more events!
Small admission fees have allowed us to make the museum accessible to everyone yet it takes donors and sponsors to keep those admissions low, exhibits upgrade, and the creation of all new programs and exhibits. Scholarships available. A must see. Field trips Welcome!
